School Development
Alvin Junior High #7 is being constructed on the northeast corner of FM518 and Kingsley Drive.
The Fort Bend ISD elementary school site on Kingsley and Shadow Creek Parkway was purchased years ago by the school district. They have not given us a schedule for when they plan on building the school. The planning committee carefully studies the district’s enrollment, growth patterns, future residential development, building capacities, and the condition of each school building. Once a determination regarding the need for the school is ready to announce we will post it here.

Retail Development
Here's everything that's in the works on Shadow Creek Parkway between Business Center Drive and Kirby Drive from east to west:
1. Just west of Shipra school will be Arby's.
2. West of that will be a full service car wash.
3. West of the retail strip center that houses UPS & Pena’s Donut Heaven will be another shopping center.
4. Contiguous to that will be Wendy's.
5. Filling in the last spot to the west is Chick-fil-A (already under construction).
